Overheard in an elevator in Manila.
Girl 1: “Ano ba talaga ang correct pronunciation, confirmed or confeermed?”
Girl 2: “Ano ka ba, magkaiba yun! Confirmed, kapag ok pa lang. Confeeremed kapag sure na sure na.”

1Funny how Manila people laugh about the way we Cebuanos speak. But truth of the matter is, we speak way better English than them. Hilas? Tinuod man sad beh. Tsk. Way uso papsiKEL cebu oie.
